Game #1 Super mario rpg

So this game was a jump many questioned if mario could make. It was the first game to feature mario in the 3rd dimension at a time when 3-d games where still quite young. For most people this was the first rpg they had ever played, as well as the first time hearing of the genre. So i now leave it to you, what do you think of the game, what did you think of it when it was first realeased?? I'm listening.
